Eventus bolsters leadership with two C-suite hires

Eventus

Eventus, a provider of trade surveillance and financial risk solutions, has appointed Eric Litz as chief technology officer (CTO) and Sarah-Jane McColl as chief customer officer (CCO).

Both appointments are designed to strengthen the company’s client experience and keep pace with emerging technologies supporting clients’ compliance requirements. Litz and McColl will both report directly to Eventus CEO Cameron Routh.

Litz brings more than 15 years of experience in technology strategy, scaling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions and operational optimisation within financial services. Most recently, he served as president of Copperhead Technology Group, a consultancy he founded in 2025 focused on data-driven IT modernisation and SaaS strategy, providing fractional CTO services to financial institutions and regulated industries.

Between 2022 and 2025, he held the CTO role at Klarivis, a SaaS analytics platform serving more than 130 community banks and credit unions. Before that, he was CTO at Delta Data from 2013 to 2022, overseeing the launch of six products for Fortune 500 clients and processing more than $2tn in assets nightly. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Jacksonville State University and a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science from Columbus State University.

McColl brings over 20 years of FinTech leadership and operations experience to the role. She had already been working with Eventus as a consultant since 2025, collaborating with the chief operating officer on the rollout of the company’s newest platform, which incorporates its next-generation AI-enabled compliance surveillance tool, Frank AI. Prior to that, she spent seven years at Beacon Platform, now part of Clearwater Analytics, joining its executive leadership team in 2021 as senior vice president of operations and later taking on responsibility for solutions and delivery. She previously spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs across London and New York, where she ultimately led global development teams within Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Alternatives business. McColl was recognised with the Excellence in FinTech Award in 2021 from Markets Media’s US Women in Finance Awards. She holds a Bachelor of Science with honours in Applied Biochemical Sciences from the University of Ulster and a Master of Science with distinction in Computer Science and Applications from Queen’s University Belfast.

Eventus offers comprehensive, at-scale trade surveillance and financial risk solutions, with a focus on AI-enabled compliance capabilities through its Frank AI platform.

Eventus CEO Cameron Routh said, “Eric and SJ bring proven expertise in their respective domains. The addition of these talented individuals to our leadership team reflects the continued focus on the client experience at Eventus as a driving principle for all we do. Eric has a strong track record of innovation, consistently delivered on schedule. SJ’s demonstrated commitment to project excellence and strong leadership skills were the driver in having her lead customer success and support.”
