Norm Ai, a legal and compliance technology firm, has launched a compliance agent integrated with Microsoft 365 Copilot, aimed at helping regulated enterprises apply AI within higher-rigor workflows.
The Norm Ai Compliance Agent is built to operate alongside Microsoft Copilot, adding compliance review, policy intelligence, verification, and auditability to the platform. The integration is designed to extend Copilot’s capabilities into workflows where regulatory and internal standards must be consistently applied and evidenced.
Within the workflow itself, the agent enables teams to review content through a compliance lens, support required disclosures, verify information against approved sources, answer policy and procedure questions, and maintain a clear audit trail.
Norm Ai uses legal engineering, structured standards, and firm-specific context to bring legal and compliance judgement closer to the point of work. The company argues this allows organisations to operate more quickly while maintaining a clear connection to the standards that govern how they function.
The launch comes as enterprises are increasingly measuring employee AI adoption as a metric for success. In regulated industries, the challenge has been ensuring that broader AI use does not come at the expense of compliance rigor or oversight.
