Palo Alto Networks, the global cybersecurity leader, has agreed to acquire Console, an AI-native platform built to bring agentic capabilities into enterprise operations.
The deal is designed to give organisations a “force multiplier” capable of resolving alerts, issues and requests at machine speed, moving security teams beyond manual dashboard management and ticket queues towards autonomous, AI-driven remediation.
Console’s technology is expected to deepen the agentic capabilities within Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex® platform, helping teams investigate signals, prioritise workloads and take direct action across their environments as AI continues to reshape the threat landscape facing enterprises today.

The company frames the acquisition as part of a broader shift towards “software-as-an-agent”, in which customers can interact directly with data and construct agentic workflows using natural language, allowing systems to alert on and remediate issues without manual intervention. Console’s founders say their customers have already demonstrated that agents can significantly cut operational overhead, and that joining Palo Alto Networks will provide the security expertise, platform infrastructure and global reach needed to extend that capability to the world’s largest enterprises.
