Regulatory overload meets its match in CUBE’s AI agents

CUBE

CUBE, the regulatory intelligence provider, has widened the agentic coworker suite inside its RegPlatform™, adding tools built to push regulatory intelligence straight into the day-to-day workflows of financial services firms.

The expansion introduces three new agents, Priorities Coworker, Analysis Coworker and Enforcements Coworker, sitting alongside CUBE’s existing risk and control suite. Each targets a distinct, labour-intensive stage of the compliance and risk process, and all are available immediately to existing customers through RegPlatform™.

Built on an API-first architecture, the coworkers plug directly into a firm’s current systems rather than requiring a separate interface.

The rationale is volume. Financial services firms typically face hundreds of regulatory updates every week, and CUBE’s coworker suite is intended to take over the sifting and actioning of that flow, freeing compliance and risk staff to concentrate on judgement calls rather than manual review.

Priorities Coworker applies automated relevance and ranking to incoming regulatory change, pushing forward what matters to a given customer and pushing down what doesn’t.

CUBE’s own Cost of Compliance Report 2025 found that 82% of firms monitor between 26 and 100 regulatory developments a month, yet 45% of firms said fewer than half of those actually demand action, and a fifth said fewer than a quarter did. Early testing of Priorities Coworker among customers has shown a reduction in wasted effort of 80 to 90%, according to CUBE.

Analysis Coworker lets compliance and risk teams query applicable updates, and the laws and rules tied to them, using natural language rather than manual searching and cross-referencing. It returns structured, contextual answers drawn from intelligence specific to the customer’s own organisation, delivered in near real time inside existing workflows.

Enforcements Coworker consolidates enforcement tracking into one continuously updated view of regulatory trends. Rather than teams chasing fines and notices jurisdiction by jurisdiction, it pulls them together, draws out the underlying risk themes and obligations, and flags where pressure is building by regulator, topic and severity, turning global enforcement activity into prioritised, evidence-based actions.

RegPlatform™ connects the people, data and processes used by compliance and risk teams at global financial services firms. The coworker agents run on RegPlatform’s existing Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and are available through the Microsoft marketplace, with integration into customer infrastructure typically taking under two weeks and requiring no changes to a firm’s existing set-up.

CUBE global executive head of product James Mackonochie said, “Compliance and risk teams at financial services firms have always had access to regulatory intelligence from CUBE. What the agentic coworkers provide is the ability to filter any noise with incredible precision, answer compliance and risk team questions, and perform the repetitive work – all of which is delivered proactively within customer’s existing systems and operating models.”

Mackonochie added, “We’re now accelerating our agentic outputs within RegPlatform. Our customers see the value and are integrating CUBEs coworkers into their own systems, further transforming how regulatory intelligence operates within their organisation.”
