One Identity, a unified identity security company, has named Randy Menon as its chief product and marketing officer (CPMO), bringing over 20 years of enterprise software experience to the role.
Menon will take responsibility for product management and marketing as the company looks to expand its capabilities across identity and privileged access management. His appointment comes as organisations face mounting pressure to secure an increasingly complex mix of human and non-human identities.
Prior to joining One Identity, Menon served as senior vice president of product at Tanium, where he directed product strategy and development for its endpoint management and security platform. Before that, he held SVP and general manager roles at TIBCO and Cloud Software Group, where he steered large-scale platform modernisation efforts and oversaw global product, engineering and operations functions.
One Identity is a unified identity security provider whose platform covers identity governance and administration as well as privileged access management. The company is accelerating a shift towards a SaaS-first portfolio, with the aim of providing enterprise-grade depth without requiring customers to manage infrastructure themselves. Consolidating product and marketing leadership under a single executive is intended to tighten alignment between customer needs and product delivery.
Menon’s hire is part of a broader phase of deliberate investment at the company, which is responding to a shift away from network-centric security models towards approaches centred on identity. As machine and agentic identities proliferate across enterprise environments, One Identity is building out the tools needed to provide visibility and governance across those systems.
