Theta Lake, a provider of AI-driven compliance and security solutions for digital communications, has announced the launch of a new product developed with Cisco.
The company, which has earned recognition as a Gartner Visionary and ranked #1 across multiple Gartner Critical Capabilities categories, is building on its position as a multi-award winner in unified communications and collaboration compliance.
The new product, Webex Compliance Hub, was developed to address growing demands for secure and compliant digital communication tools. With increased adoption of AI and collaboration platforms, organisations across regulated industries face mounting regulatory risks. The solution has been designed to help enterprises manage compliance and security obligations, particularly as workplace communication now extends across voice, video, chat, and AI assistants.
Theta Lake provides AI-powered platforms that support compliance, archiving, and risk detection across digital communications. The company’s technology is designed to unify governance, reduce regulatory risks, and provide insights into both human and AI-driven interactions.
The Webex Compliance Hub, powered by Theta Lake, is an integrated solution within Cisco’s Webex suite. It introduces end-to-end compliance and risk management features, including capture, archiving, reconciliation, eDiscovery, legal hold, supervision, surveillance, remediation, observability, and enforcement. These capabilities are built into a multi-certified, cloud-native environment designed to secure text, audio, video, and AI-generated outputs.
The product will supplement the existing Webex Control Hub and will be available to both existing and new Webex customers. It will extend compliance and security capabilities across Webex Messaging, Webex Meetings, Webex Calling, SMS, call logs, transcripts, in-meeting chat, the Cisco AI Assistant for Webex, and Slido.
The collaboration reflects a broader industry trend towards unifying compliance frameworks across AI-enabled workplace communications. As firms increasingly adopt hybrid collaboration tools, integrated compliance hubs are expected to play a critical role in mitigating risk and ensuring security.
