Kaizen, a leading provider of regulatory compliance solutions for global financial institutions, has appointed James Crow as CTO.
Crow joined the company in April 2025 as head of engineering and steps into the role following significant contributions to Kaizen’s technology vision and delivery.
Kaizen delivers RegTech services built to help financial institutions meet fast-changing compliance standards. The company supports banks and other regulated firms with scalable systems for regulatory reporting, data accuracy and high-performance technology solutions. Its Kaizen Hub platform offers a central portal to access these services, providing tools for monitoring, reporting and strengthening compliance controls.
Before arriving at Kaizen, Crow spent much of his career at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), where he helped build and scale the UnaVista platform and its reporting services. He served as UnaVista’s chief information officer, with responsibility for change, testing and technology operations.
In his new role, Crow will lead Kaizen’s technology strategy and oversee growth of the Kaizen Hub. He will focus on expanding its product roadmap, ensuring systems are scalable, secure and high-performance for global clients. His promotion recognises his technical leadership and client-focused approach.
Kaizen said Crow’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment as the business expands further into regulatory reporting and deepens its RegTech expertise. The company aims to grow its presence among tier-one financial institutions and continue investing in innovation to support increasing regulatory pressures.
Kaizen CTO James Crow said, “I’m thrilled to step into the CTO role at Kaizen. Having experienced Kaizen’s commitment to innovation and client-centric delivery in regulatory reporting and data quality, I look forward to working closely with our team to solve the problems for our clients and the industry as a whole, as well as engineering solutions that elevate our platform and service offering.”
Kaizen CEO Dario Crispini said, “We are delighted to appoint James as our Chief Technology Officer. His proven experience in building and scaling mission-critical regulatory reporting platforms, combined with his hands-on and detail-driven approach, makes James the perfect leader to advance our technology capabilities as we expand our global market presence. We look forward to his technology leadership in driving our next phase of growth.”
