Zeidler Group adds Taiwan to its RegTech compliance tool

Zeidler Group, a technology-driven law firm and RegTech compliance services provider for the global investment funds industry, has announced the expansion of its Marketing Material Review Tool (MMR-Tool) to include Taiwan.

The latest update to the MMR-Tool incorporates several key Taiwanese regulatory frameworks, including the Securities Investment Trust and Consulting Act (SITCA), the SITCA Guidelines for Advertisements and Business Activities, and the Regulations Governing Offshore Funds. The integration allows clients to review marketing materials against Taiwan’s evolving compliance standards more efficiently.

Taiwan is considered a strategically important jurisdiction for international fund distribution, with specific requirements governing financial promotions. The move is part of Zeidler Group’s broader commitment to simplifying regulatory complexity through technology.

Zeidler Group head of US Scott Parkin said, “As firms expand their distribution into Asia, the complexity of local marketing rules becomes a real operational challenge. Taiwan’s regulatory framework requires precision, consistency, and strong governance. By integrating these requirements into the MMR-Tool, we are giving firms a practical way to reduce friction in the review process, accelerate time to market, and maintain confidence that materials meet local expectations.”

With Taiwan now included, users can assess marketing materials against requirements covering fair presentation, disclosure obligations, and restrictions on promotional content, as outlined by the SITCA Guidelines for Advertisements and Business Activities, as well as the broader legal framework established by SITCA and the Regulations Governing Offshore Funds.

Zeidler Group EVP of product & services Serena Goldberg said, “Our approach is always to take complex regulatory frameworks like SITCA and turn them into something operationally usable. By integrating the full scope of Taiwan’s advertising and marketing requirements into the MMR-Tool, we are enabling investment firms to move away from manual interpretation and siloed work processes towards a more structured, technology-driven review process that delivers consistency at scale.”

Underpinned by Zeidler’s legal expertise and proprietary technology, the MMR-Tool delivers automated, jurisdiction-specific reviews of marketing materials. With more than 200 global asset managers, management companies, and fund operators already relying on the platform, the Taiwan update extends its Asia-Pacific footprint and reinforces a consistent, scalable approach to compliance.
