Castellum.AI embeds AI alert resolution into Bridger Insight

Castellum.AI, an AI compliance technology provider, has integrated its Arbiter AI agent platform into LexisNexis Bridger Insight XG, enabling compliance teams to automate the adjudication of sanctions and anti-money laundering (AML) alerts within their existing screening environment.

The integration is designed to operate within Bridger Insight XG rather than requiring compliance teams to adopt a separate system for alert resolution. Alert generation continues through Bridger Insight XG, while Arbiter assesses alerts in real time and records the outcome through an audit trail. Castellum.AI said the approach avoids data migration and changes to established screening workflows.

According to Castellum.AI, Arbiter can resolve 95% of alerts across sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), adverse media and other risk-data checks. The company also reported an 83% reduction in the time spent reviewing alerts.

The AI agents are configured according to each institution’s risk thresholds, internal policies and analyst procedures. Castellum.AI said this allows the technology to produce explainable and audit-ready adjudications based on an organisation’s existing compliance requirements rather than applying the same approach across every deployment.

The integration is also designed to reduce implementation requirements for organisations already using Bridger Insight XG. Castellum.AI said users do not need to migrate data, introduce a separate analyst interface or restructure their existing workflows to deploy Arbiter.

LexisNexis Bridger Insight XG is used by thousands of banks and FinTech firms for AML and know-your-customer (KYC) screening and case management. The integration gives existing users access to Arbiter’s automated alert-resolution capabilities without requiring them to replace their existing screening infrastructure.

Castellum.AI develops Arbiter, an AI agent platform focused on automating compliance alert resolution. Through its integration with Bridger Insight XG, the platform is intended to reduce the manual work involved in reviewing routine sanctions, PEP, adverse media and other risk-data alerts while maintaining an audit trail of automated decisions.

Castellum.AI said organisations can deploy the technology within weeks, allowing existing Bridger Insight XG users to introduce AI-driven alert resolution without rebuilding their screening environment.
