Moomoo Singapore feeds power StarCompliance surveillance

StarCompliance links Moomoo Singapore broker feeds to its platform to curb insider trading risk. Read the full story.

StarCompliance has signed Moomoo Singapore in a move aimed at tightening how financial firms oversee the personal trading activity of their employees.

Under the agreement, Moomoo Singapore will supply automated broker feed data straight into the StarCompliance platform. This lets compliance teams review personal account dealing faster and more accurately, without relying on manual data handling.

The deal comes as insider trading continues to pose a serious danger to fair and orderly markets. Supervisory bodies are raising the bar on what they expect from firms, while those seeking to exploit confidential information keep changing their methods.

In response, banks and brokerages are adopting technology that sharpens surveillance, cuts manual workloads and flags questionable conduct early, before it turns into an expensive breach.

Automated handling of broker feeds is gaining ground as one such defence. When the intake and review of these feeds runs without manual intervention, compliance staff can rapidly compare employee trades with company announcements and other price-sensitive events, lowering the chance of mistakes and accelerating review times.

Moomoo Singapore is an investment brokerage supervised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). It describes itself as the leading investment app in the city-state and has passed 2 million users since June 2026. The firm says it keeps adding technology that improves the trading experience while also protecting market integrity.

StarCompliance builds tools that help firms oversee staff trading against internal policies, detect conflicts that may signal compliance risk, apply cooling-off periods and trading windows, and automate surveillance so high-risk behaviour is caught promptly.

Its software also keeps audit trails to assist investigations and regulator queries, and issues real-time alerts so teams can respond before problems grow. The company serves clients across 114 countries.

StarCompliance said that, with AI sharply shortening investigation timelines and revealing patterns that were once hard to see, smooth data connections have become vital. The firm added that the Moomoo Singapore tie-up supports its focus on flexible, on-demand configuration and consistent standards across multiple jurisdictions.
