Theta Lake unveils updates to digital communications governance suite

Theta Lake

Theta Lake has announced the launch of numerous industry-first capabilities within its Theta Lake Risk and Compliance Suite.

This announcement builds on its recent shift towards becoming a more comprehensive platform, moving from a specific application to a broad-based digital communications governance and archiving (DCGA) infrastructure with extensive API integration.

The need for the new product arises from the evolving landscape of digital workplace communications, necessitating robust governance and compliance solutions that can seamlessly integrate with a variety of communication tools.

The new capabilities aim to simplify and enhance how organizations manage digital communications across different platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving internal analytics and insights.

Theta Lake provides a unified DCGA platform that supports the entire lifecycle of digital communications, from capture and archiving to compliance and insights. This suite is designed to help organizations modernize their digital communications governance strategies, improve workplace efficiency, manage compliance changes, reduce total ownership costs, and mitigate risks.

The newly released product features include innovative updates to its three core modules: Unified Capture, Unified Search & Archiving, and Proactive Compliance. Each module has been enhanced to provide more robust tools for ensuring compliance across various digital communication channels, including new support for platforms like Workvivo by Zoom and extended capabilities for Microsoft Teams and Slack.

Additional features introduced include advanced search and archiving tools that allow for better management of communications data, improvements in AI-driven analytics for compliance monitoring, and more effective user governance strategies to ensure that communication within digital workplaces adheres to regulatory standards.

Theta Lake Chief Product Officer Dan Nadir commented on the release, “Our latest release advances Theta Lake’s Digital Communications Governance and Archiving capabilities across all modules and the five critical capability use cases of archive and retention, regulatory compliance, investigations, internal analytics and insights, and user governance.

“Further, our unified platform with a full API allows customers to consume Theta Lake capabilities more quickly with less friction and less change required to pre-existing archives, tooling, and processes. That ability to add value and capabilities more quickly while building towards better compliance TCO, efficiency, and effectiveness is something we’ve proven with hundreds of customers over the last few years. What’s more, it builds our customers a path to get more leverage and independence for their own data.”

Zeus Kerravala, founder and Principal Analyst at ZK Research, also highlighted the significance of the platform, “The news that Theta Lake is available as a platform, driven by APIs, that make it an integrated component of customer’s IT and communications infrastructure is a breakthrough for what DCGA means to UCC.

“This means organizations can more easily consume, leverage and govern the communications generated by UCC that drives the digital workplace, making Theta Lake an essential part of the organization. That Theta Lake now supports Workvivo, a leading employee engagement platform, is another continued example of their commitment to helping organizations adopt in-demand applications compliantly and securely.”
