Zeidler Group has introduced a major enhancement to its AI-powered Marketing Material Review Tool (MMR-Tool), broadening its scope to cover advertising materials for securities.
The development enables issuers to evaluate advertisements in line with Article 2(k) of the Prospectus Regulation (EU 2017/1129), strengthening the tool’s role in supporting regulatory compliance across financial markets.
With this update, the MMR-Tool can now assess promotional materials related to public offerings or trading admissions of securities, as well as advertisements encouraging the subscription or acquisition of securities.
This is particularly relevant for issuers of transferable securities, including Exchange-Traded Commodities (ETCs) and Exchange-Traded Notes (ETNs), ensuring alignment with strict requirements under the Prospectus Regulation, its delegated regulations, and MiFID II.
