Kybix, an AI-powered Know Your Business (KYB) information exchange platform, has launched with plans to reshape how trusted business identity information is gathered, shared and kept current across financial services.
The launch responds to a mounting problem for financial institutions: understanding exactly who they are dealing with has become harder as ownership structures grow more complex, data remains scattered across sources and regulatory requirements continue to shift. This burden extends well beyond onboarding, with existing clients needing repeated review and recertification, generating substantial ongoing KYB workloads.
To tackle this, Kybix is building what it describes as a trusted global network for exchanging business identity data. Its secure platform pulls together public and private information into a single digital environment, allowing business data to be requested, supplied, approved, enriched, refreshed and reused across trusted relationships, cutting down the duplication and manual effort that still characterise much of the KYB process today.
As a Euroclear portfolio company supported by Liminal, Kybix pairs the agility of a startup with the infrastructure, market reach and Asian technology connections of an established financial group. Built on top of Euroclear’s existing GlobalWatch platform and network, the company is positioning itself to grow into a wider global market spanning financial institutions and multinational corporates.
In its initial phase, Kybix is concentrating on producing richer, more up-to-date digital business profiles. These combine data drawn from registries, APIs and AI-driven research with private details submitted directly by companies, all held within a secure exchange built to satisfy regulatory standards.
The platform brings together secure data exchange, AI-powered questionnaires, connections to third-party sources and decision-support tools under one roof. This allows organisations to automate information requests, link external data sources and accelerate analysis, while retaining permission-based access controls and human oversight throughout. The intended outcome is reduced manual work, quicker onboarding and a smoother experience for customers.
Looking ahead, Kybix plans to expand into monitoring and risk insight, supporting a shift towards what it calls perpetual KYB, moving away from periodic checks towards business information that updates continuously as companies and their risk profiles evolve. As its technology and market presence grow, the company intends to work with financial institutions and multinational businesses to build infrastructure for securely reusing verified business information across global financial services.
Kybix is led by chief executive Ingo Ernst, supported by an international leadership team comprising chief operating officer Isabel Feliciano-Wendleken, chief client officer Marie-Charlotte Henseval, chief technology officer Marc des Garets and product director Grant Greenwood.
Collectively, the team draws on extensive experience across financial infrastructure, regtech, identity and high-security technology, pairing regulated-market knowledge with the technical expertise required to scale KYB infrastructure internationally.
Kybix CEO Ingo Ernst said, “KYB has remained too fragmented and manual for too long. Financial institutions are being asked to understand their customers in greater detail and keep that information current throughout the relationship, but the infrastructure supporting that work has not kept pace.”
Kybix CEO Ingo Ernst said, “Kybix is building a trusted global network for business identity information, combining AI-powered technology with the established network and financial infrastructure expertise of Euroclear. Our ambition is to make trusted business information easier to maintain and securely reuse, creating the foundations for a shift from periodic reviews towards perpetual KYB.”
Euroclear head of compliance and public affairs Edwin De Pauw said, “Kybix addresses a challenge felt across the industry: how to collect, verify and maintain business information more efficiently while meeting increasing regulatory expectations. Today, firms and their clients are often asked to provide the same information repeatedly through manual and fragmented processes.
“With Kybix, we have an opportunity to simplify how institutions exchange and maintain KYB information, helping improve compliance outcomes while delivering a faster and more seamless client experience. Stronger compliance and greater efficiency can go hand in hand.”
