AuditBoard and EY have expanded their alliance to bolster risk management services across the UK and Ireland.
As part of the initiative, EY has launched a dedicated Centre of Excellence in the UK, aimed at delivering consulting and integration services specifically for AuditBoard clients. The centre will provide strategic guidance to help businesses modernise their risk frameworks and enhance operational resilience.
Chris Gallagher, EY UK&I risk consulting leader, said, “We are delighted to announce the alliance with AuditBoard in the UK market. The alliance, which began in 2022 with EY US, will be about bespoke consulting and integration services to empower businesses to navigate complex regulatory environments, and effectively leverage technological advancements.”
Ravi Patel, AuditBoard director of alliances, EMEA, added, “Today’s regulatory environment requires teams to prioritise efficiency and agility in their programs. We are thrilled to be able to expand support to EMEA to equip our customers with forward-thinking risk management strategies, ensuring resilience and continuity for their organisations in an unpredictable environment.”
The alliance integrates EY’s strategic advisory capabilities with AuditBoard’s cloud-native platform, offering customers access to cutting-edge audit, compliance, and risk technology. The collaboration is designed to assist firms in adapting to regulatory changes such as UK corporate reform and controls transformation, while also supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in risk processes.
AuditBoard has also introduced a suite of new AI-driven capabilities to its platform. These include AI Scoping Memos, which generate detailed audit scopes using risk data, key processes, and procedures, and AI Cross-Audit Summaries, which consolidate findings into executive-level reports for improved decision-making.
Further enhancements include the Next Gen Reporting Platform, offering users a redesigned interface, smarter bookmarking, real-time insights, role-based permissions, and more efficient dashboard actions.
AuditBoard chief technology officer Happy Wang said, “These innovative new enhancements empower customers to build AI into their process DNA to reduce the amount of time spent on manual, time-consuming activities and allow them to focus on more strategic work. We are confident these features will help elevate audit teams within their organizations, enabling them to gain trust and add more business value.”
