E-invoicing compliance infrastructure company DDD Invoices, headquartered in Slovenia, has completed a €1.31m seed round led by Fil Rouge Capital and 500 Global, according to a report from EU-Startups.
The raise will be channelled into widening the company’s country coverage, improving how its platform integrates with existing software stacks, and hiring across product, engineering, and go-to-market functions.
The round also drew backing from a collection of angel investors and advisors carrying considerable experience across the e-invoicing and ERP space.
Its angel backers include Bengt Nilsson, founder of IFS and former chief executive of Pagero; Hans Berg, co-founder of Tickstar and chief executive of Arratech; Oscar Wegland, former chief marketing officer at Pagero and co-founder and CMO of Docupath; Alexander Jansson, former head of partnerships at Pagero and COO at Docupath; and Carl Julius Nilsson, former CCO at Pagero and CEO of Docupath.
The company operates an API that enables software providers to embed multi-country e-invoicing and fiscalisation capabilities directly into their products, covering more than 30 countries with particular depth across Central and Eastern Europe.
Supported mandates include Poland’s KSeF, Hungary’s NAV, Romania’s RO_Cius, Serbia’s SEF, Croatia’s Fiscalization 2.0, and Montenegro. Its clients span SaaS businesses, ERP and POS providers, property management systems, marketplaces, and payment providers.
DDD Invoices positions its offering as a way for software companies to convert a regulatory obligation into a monetisable product feature, handling local regulatory tracking and updates on their behalf.
DDD Invoices CEO and co-founder Denis Vehovec Pondelak said, “Modern software companies cannot afford to be slowed down by local compliance complexity. Compliance is already not the most exciting part of building a company, but now it is becoming increasingly more complex due to governments tightening the regulations and companies scaling globally from the get-go. We’re building the infrastructure to take that off their plate.”
