Can AI compliance scale? Curvestone AI joins Eagle Labs

Curvestone AI joins Barclays Eagle Labs Scaleup Programme

Curvestone AI, a RegTech firm based in London that applies artificial intelligence to compliance automation, has won a spot on the Barclays Eagle Labs Scaleup Programme, a move that comes as it sets its sights on deeper expansion in mortgages and wealth.

Only 25 businesses were picked for the four-month initiative, which aims to equip fast-growing companies to overcome the real-world hurdles that come with scaling up.

Each month of the programme centres on a distinct area of growth: leadership and operations, commercial performance, customer retention and expansion, and funding strategy. Cohort members learn from subject specialists as well as founders who have already steered their own companies through rapid growth. The first session took place at the Barclays Innovation Hub powered by Eagle Labs in Shoreditch, with Plexal, EY, Google Cloud, Cooper Parry, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Emerald Technology among the programme’s partners.

Curvestone intends to use its place on the scheme to bolster its commercial capabilities as it pushes further into the mortgage and wealth markets. It is also looking to connect with fellow founders in the cohort and across the broader Eagle Labs community, and to identify opportunities to collaborate with the programme’s partners.

The company’s platform takes on compliance and oversight tasks for regulated firms, such as full case-file reviews, financial promotions and financial crime controls. UK mortgage brokers, networks, lenders and wealth advisers make up its client base.

Curvestone positions its technology as an AI workflow layer for complex, high-stakes processes, replacing manual and siloed roles with AI workers. The platform is built to deliver greater speed, accuracy and auditability, and serves compliance officers, financial services and insurance innovators, and legal operations leaders.

Based in Holborn, London, Curvestone closed a £3m seed round in December 2025. Its team combines expertise in artificial intelligence, automation and enterprise transformation.

Curvestone AI founder and CEO Dawid Kotur said the opening session had revealed how much the cohort’s members have in common. “We had a great first session with the programme leads, and it was reassuring to hear how many of our scaling challenges are shared by the other founders in the room.”

Kotur added that the company would use the coming months to draw on the experience of those who have scaled before and to deepen its ties across the Eagle Labs network.

“Over the next four months I want to learn from people who have scaled before, get to know the wider Eagle Labs network, and explore where we can work with partners such as Google Cloud and EY. We’ll be sharing what we’ve learned on our own journey too.”
